This research is about the interrelation between the behavioral psychology of human beings and physical built form around them. The title ‘Learning outside the classroom’ associates what lies between architecture and education. In other words the learning environments and the process of learning, how these two, under given certain conditions, influence one another. The school projects seek to how space can be stimulus to learning, rather than just being a successful design solution. There is a growing rediscovery of the fact that the quality of the physical environment has a major role to play in educating children. The intention of this study is to reveal the value of appropriate design of children’s environments and, how spatial relationship can be an opportunity for learning. Here, an approach given to perceive school environments as an assembly of successful learning conditions provided to satisfy the basic needs of children. Through understanding psychological theories and observing behavioral response in learning conditions, an effort has been made to dissolve the gap between the field of child psychology and architecture of Schools.
